Playback singer PB Srinivas died|PB Srinivas Expired

Veteran play back singer Pratiwadhi Bayankar Srinivas, who is popularly known as PB Srinivas (83) passed away at his home in Chennai on Sunday due to hear attack.  He was born in Kakinada on 22^nd September, 1930. He sung in all the southern Indian languages and also in Hindi for 200 films. He has good command over English, Sanskrit, Hindi and Urdu apart from all the south Indian languages. He has sung many songs for noted Kannada actor Raj Kumar and to Tamil actor Gemini Ganeshan. In Telugu films, he used to sing for Kantha rao and Jagayya. He has four sons and a daughter. Except, one son all others are staying in Chennai. Hence, his last rituals may be performed on Monday morning in Chennai. Southern Film industry has expressed grief for his death.
